Hyosung HICO is committed to provide a place of employment that is free from known hazards and to comply with appropriate safety and security laws and regulations such as those established by the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and all other applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations. Our Company Safety Management System (CSMS) is the core of the Hyosung HICO safety and health program; continuously incorporating educational and monitoring procedures to teach safety, correct deficiencies, and provide a safe, clean working environment.

Achieving the Hyosung HICO safety goal requires:

Our Expertise
Our Approach to EHS
The Hyosung HICO EHS Department recognizes that an effective safety program extends beyond regulatory compliance. It requires active participation, communication, accountability, and collaboration throughout the organization.
Our EHS professionals work directly with employees and leadership to evaluate workplace conditions, develop practical safety solutions, provide education and training, and address potential risks before they result in injuries or incidents. Through continuous improvement and employee engagement, the department works to strengthen a workplace culture in which safety is incorporated into everyday operations and decision-making.
Our focus is simple: protect people, reduce risk, support compliance, and continuously improve the way we work.
